Four enlarged hands carry the recorded testimonies of four women over seventy-five, each a grandmother from neighbouring villages. Memory is encountered through proximity: touch, listening and the visible marks of a life lived.

Each hand activates a fifteen-to-twenty-minute testimony: memories, routines, work, family, customs, difficulties and the changes witnessed over time.

The original hands were moulded in plaster, scanned in three dimensions and reproduced as 3D-printed forms at three times their actual size. This digital transformation preserves the specificity of every wrinkle, fold and mark while making the gestures of everyday life newly present.

Visitors activate each testimony by pressing a button, then trace the enlarged surfaces while listening. Small information cards accompany each voice, creating a dialogue between touch, listening and memory.

Grandma: the hands of time turns the marks of work, care and age into an encounter. Each hand offers a story; together, the four works make time tangible.
