Student work / Installation + projection
Any Past Time
Furniture, plaster
and projection
Any Past Time reflects on how the narratives we construct about the past shape collective consciousness — and can create conflicts within us. The work examines historical memory through the social portrait of postwar youth in mining regions.

Projected photographic archive
Photographs projected onto the heavy cushions depict the harshness of an era, alongside identity, collective effort, and a generation’s hope to move forward.
Archive and collaboration
Created with the Santa Bárbara Cultural and Mining Association, using photographs from José Muñiz’s archive, the installation asks how nostalgia, misinformation and family narratives shape the ways we remember together.
